First Weekend Completed…

Just a quick post to let everyone know that we survived our first weekend here! It was complete with the following activities:

• Ultrasound on Friday – confirming a healthy baby!
• Meeting our neighbors; who have a 4 year old girl and are expecting their second child 2 weeks after Boo is due!
• Trip to the beach to relax and enjoy the gorgeous weather
• Christine made her first Target run and didn’t cry trying on maternity bathing suits ~ We are very proud of her
• I was able to go surfing on Sunday afternoon ~ I’m going to need a lot of practice!
• Went to a cookout on Sunday night at a friends house ~ about 10 very diverse people were there and spent some time talking to our first “Hollywood Celebrity”. (Of course, Christine and I didn’t know that she was a successful actress until much later in the evening. We spent most of the time talking about her kids and our expectations of raising a child in the area. • Christine took her Monday morning conference call this morning on the beach and then headed off to work

That’s about it for now….I’ve just got my backpack on and am trekking all over the city to explore! Getting some strange looks as most people don’t walk – they probably just assume that I’m an unemployed, homeless guy. They may be half right!
